Chapter 6 - Generating User Access Reports

Overview of the User Access Report Program

From a DOS, Windows, or OS/2 workstation, you can specify parameters for the report directly at the system command line.
If you prefer a menu interface, you can enter REPORT at the system command line and select the User Access Report from the Report menu.
If you are working in the VFILES program, you can select the Generate Report option to access the Report menu.

REPORT UA /OUT:pathname /PATH:pathname

REPORT UA /OUT:UAREPT /PATH:ACCTG/*.NEW

From the Menu

1. To display the Network Reporting Program menu, at the command line enter REPORT.

2. Select option 2, User Access Report, to display the following data entry screen, where you enter the name of the directory or file to report on and then press F10.

3. Enter a name for the output file.
