Appendix A - Using Keyboard Short Cuts

About Keyboard Short Cuts

Many commands in VINES Mail menus have command-key equivalents. As an alternative to choosing a command or clicking an icon, you can press both the Command key and another key to perform the same action.

For example, Cmd - H means to hold down the Command key and press the letter H.

In this Appendix, the keyboard short cuts for commands are grouped by menu. There are also short cuts for selecting and composing messages, and for using STDA.

Apple Menu Short Cuts

There is one shortcut for the Apple menu. Press Cmd - H to access VINES Mail Help.

File Menu Short Cuts

Table A-1 lists the short cuts for the File menu:

Using the option key temporarily overrides some of the preference settings. Pressing the option key:
